Questions and answers
Are reading goals and statistics free?
Yes. Reading goals, streaks, the Reading Calendar and basic statistics are free. Bookrise Premium unlocks additional features.
Can I change or turn off my reading goals?
Absolutely. Adjust your target whenever your routine changes, or remove a goal and keep tracking your reading without one.
Do I need to use a timer every time I read?
No. Just update where you left off to record your progress. Use Reading Mode when you also want to track how long you read.
Do I have to meet my daily goal to keep my reading streak?
No. Your reading streak counts the days you log reading, even if you don't reach your daily target. Meeting your daily goal has its own separate streak.
Does reading ebooks count toward my statistics?
Yes. Track an ebook by pages or percentage. Bookrise converts percentage updates into pages so they count toward your reading statistics too.
Do re-reads count towards my yearly goal?
Yes. Every time you finish a book counts, including books you read again.
